Rail Partners with Ukraine at Rail Live

Rail Partners' event at Rail Live 2024 hosted senior members of the Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) management board for a discussion about their experience of running the railway during wartime, the challenges Ukrainian rail workers are facing as a result of the ongoing conflict, and what the international railway community can do to help.

The panel discussion also included commentary from the British rail industry involved in supporting the Ukrainian Railway. Watch it back below.

The first Rail Partners with Ukraine event took place on 12 September 2023. The event welcomed senior representatives of the railway industry for a unique reception in aid of the Global Ukraine Railway Task Force, raising funds to deliver food parcels to Ukrainian rail workers and their families.

With the support of the UK rail industry, Rail Partners raised £106,485 for the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force, equivalent to 7099 food packages.
